BOSU #FITfamily Challenge begins 10/12/15

If you’ve been following along you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been participating in The BOSU and Fit Approach BOSUstrong challenge for the past 4 weeks. It’s been a blast, but it’s just the start of another 4 weeks of fun!12109751_982647055120512_3424320224749228409_oI’m now working a bit further to get my family in on the fun (though my son already participated quite a bit in the last round).

As a busy mom it’s difficult to squeeze in workouts in the evenings without feeling mom guilt for not playing with my child.  That’s where at home buddy workouts with my little man come into play.  My son fully enjoys his workout time with mommy.  So much so that if a day passes without a workout he’s at my heels asking me if we’re going to workout.

It’s a blessing to be able to provide a healthy example to my son and to see that he has pleasure in participating in the at home workouts that I do. It’s become our own personal ritual, our mommy and me time.

For the last four weeks, the Sweat Pink community teamed up with BOSU to show the world what it means to be #BOSUStrong. One thing that makes me BOSUStrong is my family because they inspire me to_persevere_. And I hope to inspire them to_challenge themselves everyday_.

__Craig__, _Connor_, (family members) and I love to _go for family walks__ (activity) together! We walk our neighborhood on week days, and take advantage of the weekends to _go on outdoor adventures together! I introduced _Connor (kid name) to at home workouts (activity) and love watching Connor (kid name) learn the variety of activities (activity). Any time we do squats (Activity), Connor (kid name) amazes me/kicks my butt! A family that sweats  (activity) together, sticks together!

Our favorite #FitFamily BOSU workout is_planks and pushups_ because _it challenges us_. And I am loving the BOSU Sport and the BOSU Sport-Kids DVD because its a great workout for my kid and has helped with their _agility_.
